A love Voyage

2020 was an extremely difficult year for everyone around the world. We constantly hear stories that break our hearts, wishing we can do something for everyone; sadly it is not possible. But the important thing is to do what we can, no matter how small it might seem.

I met Javier in 2019 but only learned of his condition recently, a sweet teenager who is always smiling and with a joyful attitude, until his pain is too much bear. He had a temporary metal bar placed in his chest to help correct his Pectus Exacavatum. The bar was meant to be removed 2 years ago, but due to financial difficulties it was not. As time went on compiled with the pandemic, his parents struggled even more, making it virtually impossible to pay for the surgery.

In December of 2020 his body collapsed, rejecting the alien metal bar, he was hospitalized and had emergency surgery on January 8, 2021. We are extremely grateful we were able to help raise money towards the surgery, we couldn’t raise the full amount but every little bit helps.

Our focus is on social impact programs at a community level; hence sometimes we come across needs similar to Javier’s situation and if we can contribute somehow, we will.

If you are interested is helping Javier and his family please email: yenifer@elvoyage.com.
The money will be sent directly to the family and will help them cover the total cost of the surgery. Right now they are still $2500 short.

Note: We are only referring to Javier on a first name basis to protect his privacy. We are sharing some images so you can see where your funds will go. We pray Javier continues his recovery without any complications.

Thank you for your support and trust.

Love,

EL VOYAGE
