Define fashion.

Style crafted to express once self, the pieces chosen have the ability to showcase our very own mood. So I love choosing garments, accessories and shoes that are one of a kind and or that have history behind.

What made you take fashion more seriously and make a career out of it?

As a child I had an idea of what it would be to work in fashion...but it was only after working in an investment firm that made me pursuit fashion as a career. It is a very exciting industry and 15 years later I’m still in it. The complexity of taking a product from concep to delivey is never boring and you never stop learning.

Are you self taught or did you study fashion design?

Self taught went to school for International Business and Trade.

What are your inspirations for the designs you have created for the Nolcha Media Lounge?

My last trip to Puglia and Guatemala, colours, patterns and the pieces I wanted and wished to have when traveling.

How can you encourage the customer to form an emotional attachment to your product, thereby discouraging disposal?

our leather and weavings just gets better with use, and as you use it and make memories with them...they will become your favourite keeps for all your travels and for your daily adventures.

What markets and demographic do you target?

30 and up well travel consumer, that cares for quality durable items with a meaning behind them. A little piece of art in your closet.

What do you think about work ethics and what kind of ethics you believe in following while working with fashion?

Respect others
